    Community Participation

    Kothari commission (1964-66) emphasized the importance of community participation in the school education. It recommended that it is essential to establish intimacy between local communities and school to develop quality education in the school. It also recommended that decentralization of education at all levels.

    When people actively participate in their communities, they not only contribute to the betterment of society but also benefit personally through increased social support, improved mental well-being, and a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities within their community.
